Lawn Care: involves maintaining the health of your lawn by performing various tasks such as fertilizing, weed control, soil health, turf disease management, pest management, aeration, and irrigation.
Commercial & Residential

Lawn Fertilization & Weed Control
(Organic Fertilizer Available)
Lawn fertilization is the process of applying essential nutrients to the soil to promote the healthy growth of your lawn. These nutrients, primarily nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, are crucial for the vitality of your lawn. Inconjunction with spraying broadleaf weeds such as dandelions, clover, and plantain to name a few.

Aeration
Aeration helps to alleviate compacted soil and provide the soil with additional space for roots to grow, reproduce and transfer oxygen, moisture and nutrients. Additionally, small patches of thatch are removed allowing for your lawn to be more vigorous and healthier. This service is recommended to keep your lawn healthy.

OverSeeding
Over-Seeding your lawn following aeration will help introduce new vigorous growing grass to your mature or new lawn. The seed will germinate filling in bare patches as well as areas where your lawn has thinned from environmental conditions.

Soil Testing
Soil testing is essentially a screenshot of the soil's health. Soil testing helps explain the soil's condition, including its nutrients (macro/ micronutrients) or lack of nutrients available to help feed your lawn and make it lush and green for the season. Post testing a simple Lime Application Helps:
*Lime provides calcium to the soil to correct acidity (PH levels)
*Increased resistance to disease
*Improved germination, soil structure & water penetration
*Stimulates root growth
*Enhances microbial activity

Pest Management
Pest management involves properly identifying the insects causing issues to your plants or lawns. Upon identification a treatment plan can be put into action of prevention, monitoring or using biological or chemical pesticides to alleviate the problem. Remember that healthy and vigorously growing plants and lawns can tolerate a higher degree of pest pressure. So keep your plants and lawns healthy with proper fertilization, aeration and water.
Insects: *Grubs *Chinch Bugs *Sod Webworm *Viburnum Leaf Beetle, etc.

Irrigation
Start-Up: Spring startup is a complex process to ensure irrigation systems are functioning properly. The process includes visual inspection and cleaning of the backflow to prevent leaks. Then, charging the mainline and lateral line pipes slowly to avoid pipe damage from water surge, checking each zone for proper coverage of your property and seeing if any leaks are present. The crew will set the clocks run times for the current weather conditions.

Shut-Down: Winterization is critical to the health of the irrigation system. Failure to properly drain the system in the fall can allow water to freeze in the valves and lines resulting in signigicant damage in the spring. WinterGreen uses an air compressor that pushes the water out of the valves and sprinkler heads at 100psi. Finally, WinterGreen turns off and labels the irrigation control valve, turns off the clock, drains the backflow unit, and pures the test valves.
